What is the Elm Savings Plan?

Patients with or without insurance are always looking for a better deal on their dental care. Why not provide it for them with a self sustained, done for you software that is customized to your practice. By having your patients sign up for your practice specific dental savings plan it retains them in your office and discourages them from looking at the competition based on a better price or the next best deal.

We kept your staff in mind when the plan was developed and wanted to make it as easy on them as we could.  The last thing your staff wants is another project to manage. With the Elm Savings Plan your staff does not have to figure out who signed up for what plan and which discount needs to be applied.  We did not want your staff looking through a three ring binder or looking through the patient ledger trying to figure out if someone was up to date with their discount plan.  All the patients information is integrated into the software system and is easily accessed by a name search.  When your staff member does a patient search in the software and it will inform them of the discount plan that the patient signed up for, if they are up to date with their payments and waiting periods, when they signed up, who in the family is signed up and their contact information. All information is housed under one dashboard so the staff will have easy access to this information. 


SET IT AND FORGET IT. (and let it produce and income for you) This software is extremely easy to use. One of our main goals for someone wanting to incorporate an in office discount plan is for the plan to actually generate a passive income stream for your practice. This is a yearlong commitment for your patients who will pay you a monthly membership fee for the ability to use a discount in your practice.  We know from studying other industries that people will sign up for memberships and continually pay a monthly fee even if they don’t use the service.  It is very similar to a gym membership, many people have one but those same people don’t work out on a regular basis.  This program pays you monthly whether your patients come in or not. We will collect all the monthly membership fees on your behalf and then send you a check on a monthly basis for everyone who is enrolled under your office plan. Your staff does not have to worry about collecting the monthly payments for all the plans every month. Let us do the monthly collection work for them. Once you sign up for the plan and set up your discounts in the system the software is ready to make a passive income stream for your practice.  

The best part about our plans is that YOU set the fees, not the insurance company. You are in total control of the discounts and what codes the discounts are going to be applied to.  We give you a three tiered plan option for your patients to chose from.  The benefit is that your patient can decide how much money to invest for the amount of discount they desire.  



The complaint that I hear most often from dentists is that they get tired of presenting a treatment plan and then the patient stating “I was thinking of getting insurance to cover this”.  Most of the time this leads to them not scheduling any treatment at all. Your Elm Savings Plan solves that problem with the ability to provide your own savings plan with benefits that are immediately available.  This avoids them waiting on getting “insurance to cover the treatment”.  This also avoids dealing with the long waiting periods for any major treatment necessary.  Insurance plan waiting periods can be up to a year before any major treatment can be completed.  You want them to be able to use their benefits now and not a year from now.


Hygiene services PAID IN ADVANCE?

These plans have been structured in a way that the patient will be paying in advance for two hygiene visits with one series of bitewing radiographs and an exam within their initial enrollment fee*.  You will never be giving away services with this plan. They must use their free services within a 12 month period or the benefit is lost. This assures two outcomes: your hygiene schedule is going to be full giving you the ability for treatment planning and presentation or your have collected for services the patient has chosen not to take advantage of after prepayment has been made.

These plans are for a minimum of 12 months and they have an auto-renew feature built into the system.  This produces another passive income stream for your practice through the prepayment of hygiene and diagnostic services.
